Vermys Update


Just a quick post to outline what is going on these days with us. As we continued to experiment, plan, design, and prep Vermys; we came to the conclusion that we would like it to be Lurking III: Vermys. This led to the idea of utilizing our overworld map data as part of the game in much the same way that we did when importing the L1 map to L2. Since this was to be a retro 3D project, this obviously brought up a slew of 'challenges' that need to be overcome as far as translating the map data into something I could use to create a 3D overworld. Scaling, horizon, blending tiles, creating models... I am in the early stages of all of this. Don't know if it will fly yet but here is a pic of my early attempts at importing and rendering the L2 map data...
